I am a legal American citizen and proud to live in the land of the free. But, more and more, I see this United States heading toward socialism and away from democracy.
We need less government. Today, government owns banks. Now they want to own health care, and soon they'll be banning our rights to bear arms.
They took prayer out of schools. The government laws have made it illegal to discipline our own children. Parents fear jail.
Schools are wanting to put kids on all sorts of drugs so they can teach them, yet nothing is done about school gangs.
Without some sort of discipline at home some kids have no respect for themselves or others. Yes, some parents give kids too much, some not enough.
The government now wants to tax fast foods, junk food, soda, etc., so they can control what you eat, like they control high prices on beer and cigarettes.
