At Skaneateles High School, 10 different Lakers players scored as the boys soccer team pulled off a 9-0 shutout over Phoenix Thursday in their final regular season match-up.

The Lakers led 6-0 at the half, dominating on senior night as they also led in shots on goal 30-10.
Scoring for Skaneateles were Jeff Baldetti who tallied three goals, Kyle Baier posted two goals and one assist, AJ Richichi, Jared Amory and Paulo Cesar Alvardo each contributed one goal and one assist, Daniel Boller added one goal, Zach Brownlee collected two assists and Trevor Hinman, Kevin Rice and Kelly Donigan finished with one assist each.
Jake Bird recorded four saves for Skaneateles and Paul O'Donnell earned three saves in the win.
“We had a lot of different scorers,” Lakers' assistant coach Aaron Moss said. “It was good to get out in a cold, rainy, wet game and do so well. This is probably indicative of the weather we will be facing for the rest of our games.”
With the win, Skaneateles (12-3-1) should have the OHSL Liberty League Championship title and are awaiting their seeding for the Section III, Class B playoffs.
The Lakers are the defending sectional champs.
