The Auburn girls swimming team came from behind and won its final events to beat Liverpool 89-81 Friday at the Auburn YMCA-WEIU.
MaryJane Leja, Makenzie Hauger, Mallorie Dygert and Ashley King won the 200 freestyle relay (47.43) to tie up the meet late, 62-62, while Bethany Schroeder won the 100 backstroke (1:07.51) with a personal best to give Auburn a lead it wouldn't relinquish.
Auburn's Danielle Lang, Brigid Cotter, Tiffani Chehovich and Molly Blair (2:08.13) won the 200 medley relay.
Dygert would touch first in the 200 freestyle (2:05.69)
The Maroons didn't win the 50 freestyle, but picked up some key points, finishing second, third and fourth, behind Leja, Blair and Schroeder, respectively.
Tiffani Chehovich had a personal best in the 100 backstroke (1:10.98), while Hauger finished on top in the 100 breaststroke (1:11.71).
The Maroons (3-0) travel to Baldwinsville on Friday.
