After trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Jordan-Elbridge girls soccer team held Hannibal scoreless in the second half, coming back to earn its first win of the season, 2-1 on Thursday.
Emily Dillon got the job done in the net, blocking seven shots for the Eagles.
Tia Segretto scored the first goal for Jordan-Elbridge on a corner kick, and Carrie-Jo Farrugia sealed the victory with the second goal with only 3:09 left in the game.
Tending goal for Hannibal was Kay Hopsicker, who finished with six saves.
The only score came from Hannibal's Taylor Sorell.
Amanda Brown and Elizabeth Caspari each had assists in the win.
The Eagles(1-4) travel to Phoenix on Tuesday.
BOYS SOCCER
Southern Cayuga 3, Union Springs 0
Chiefs' goalie Kevin Stockton led his team, holding the Wolves scoreless in a rival soccer match.
Ryan Killian scored the first goal of the game six minutes into the second half. Killian's goal came unassisted from about 18 yards deep.
After Union Springs let a ball get into their own net, Jim Weber scored the final goal. The score from Weber came on a corner kick from Connor Philip.
Wolves' goalie Matt Orchard played well, despite seeing 18 shots from the Chiefs. Union Springs had eight shots. Stockton had 10 saves for Southern Cayuga.
“We did have a little advantage down the stretch,” said Chiefs' head coach Terry Underwood, “We had a number of shots we took. Union Springs stood very firm and denied us.”
Nick Shrimpton and Eric Hlywa played well for Union Springs.
The Chiefs got help from Pat Redmond, Jim Weber and Matt Bergenstock on defense.
Southern Cayuga (2-2) heads to Marathon on Monday.

Auburn 3, Henninger 1
The Maroons defeated the Black Knights 25-10, 25-4, 20-25 and 25-11, giving the team their first win of the season.
Kaylee Hamberger recorded seven aces, one kill and eight assists, while Emily Felter tallied two aces, seven kills, one assist and two blocks. The two seniors led the Maroons in the win.
Also chipping in for Auburn were Emily Jetty with three kills and three assists, Maggie Brazak with two aces, one kill and one block, Brittany Lawler with three kills, one assist and one block, and Janiqua Fletcher with two aces and five kills.
The Maroons (1-4 overall, 1-1 league) host Cicero-North Syracuse Monday.
