Sanders has four hits in win

Jacob Sanders cracked four hits, including a three-run homer to lead the NYSCOBA Brewers to a 21-20 win over the Auburn Fire Department Orioles in an Auburn Boys and Girls Baseball League baseball game Wednesday.
Also leading the Brewers with four hits each were Jakob Borza, Olivia Maassen, Max Bergan and Zach Dennis. Tallying three hits each were Morgan Cook, A.J. Williams and Aaron Kowal. Tyler Cook, Conor Maassen and Olivia Morgan each chipped in two hits. Gracie Morgan and Dominic Jones also did well offensively.

Leading the defensive effort for the Brewers were Olivia Morgan, Tyler Cook, Kowal and Borza.

The Orioles were paced by Paige Lincoln, Makayla Smith, Cameron Trumbull and Trenton Quinn with three hits each, Dakota Lupien, Isabella Granato and Ernest Stokes also has multiple hits, and Jake Granato, Matty Mosher and Bradley Lawrence finished with one hit each, including a three-run home run by Lawrence.

Trumbull, Lawrence and Lincoln also led the defense.

Byrn's Trophy Shop Padres 29, Reflections Dermatology Red Sox 20

Jacob Coleman hit a home run to lead the Padres, while Abby Fallon, Cutter Johnson, Kevin Stechuchak, Maeve Canty and William Coleman finished with five hits each.

Brian Love Jr., Natalie Ryan and Austin Lusk led the Padres defensively.

The Red Sox were paced by Baylee Kennedy, Jack Benunk and Max Hayden who each slugged five hits, while John LaDuca, Patrick Mahunik and Connor Mahunik had strong defensive performances.

Children's Health Specialists Marlins 18, First Niagara Rangers 15

Kaleb Cook smacked the game-winning grand slam for the Marlins, and Kaiya Reilley chipped in one hit. Ryan Fedigan and EJ Townsend led defensively.

The Rangers' Josh Wlad recorded three hits and Moira Curry finished with two hits. Zack Wlad made an unassisted triple play and Noah Marr also played well on defense.

BABE RUTH LEAGUE

Auburn Police Department 7, Auburn Correctional Facility 7

Matt Nolan, Conor Herr and Cody Ladisair each pitched for APD, while Josh Sorenson doubled and Pete Sigona, Nolan, Kevin Chalker, Ladisair and Chris Stoddard finished with one hit each.

APD tied the game in the top of the seventh to force extra innings, but the game ended in a tie due to time constraints.

Combining on the mound for the ACF were Dana Scarselletta, Jimmy Spinelli and Jamie Terry.

Terry and Luke Drancsak both contributed two hits to pace ACF, while Scarselletta, Spinelli and Mark Bachman each had one hit.
