A woman suffered minor injuries in a motor vehicle accident in Auburn on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred at the intersection of North and Seymour streets at 5:09 p.m. Wednesday, when a vehicle headed south on North Street was attempting a left-hand turn to go east on Seymour.
The vehicle was stopped in the middle of the intersection, according to Auburn police and as the light began to change, another vehicle heading north on North Street, accelerated through the light in the far right lane, broadsiding the turning vehicle.
Courtney Sawaya, driver of the vehicle heading north on North Street, suffered minor injuries - she bit her tongue and was scraped.
Phil Amoia, driver of the vehicle heading south on North Street turning left, had no apparent injuries. Neither of the drivers were transported to the hospital.
Both vehicles had extensive damage and were towed.
Information on whether traffic tickets were issued at the scene was unavailable.
