Matthew Wright earned his first win on the mound and the Auburn Doubledays' got their second of the season as they topped Jamestown 9-4 Wednesday.
Wright pitched four innings, tallying four strikeouts while allowing three hits and one run.
The game stood scoreless until a hot seven-run third inning for Auburn that began with a string of singles.
Kevin Nolan led off the third with a single, before Karim Turkamani followed suit on a fly ball and Jonathan Fernandez loaded the bases.
The Doubledays managed to drive in five runners before Randy Schwartz smacked a two run homer that made it a 7-0 game on his third long ball of the season.

Leading the Doubledays at the plate were rightfielder Welinton Ramirez who was 3-for-5 with two doubles, one RBI, one stolen base and a run scored, Fernandez contributed two hits with a run scored, Bradley Glenn went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored and Jack Murphy recorded one double and one single while scoring once.
Auburn had the gap widened to a 9-2 lead by the bottom of the ninth when Steven Turnbull came on the mound to relieve Wright and gave up two more runs, both earned.
The Jammers were paced at the plate by Kyle Jensen and Michael Brady who both went 2-for-4 with a stolen base apiece, Sequoyah Stonecipher was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored, Rand Smith hit two singles and two RBIs and Michael Pasek finished with one single.
