AUBURN - A 20-year-old Auburn man pleaded not guilty in Cayuga County Court Tuesday to charges that he sold crack cocaine to confidential informants on Oct. 27.
Duane Whitaker, of 10 Nelson St., apartment 1, is accused of selling the unpackaged drugs to confidential informants in two separate deals for a total of $100.
Whitaker is charged with two counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance, all felonies.

An 18-year-old Syracuse accused of selling 4.5 grams of cocaine to undercover officers in Auburn pleaded not guilty to four felony drug charges.
Jaquran Pitts, of 725 E. Laurel Ave., is accused of selling the drugs in two separate deals for $400 on Dec. 12 and Jan. 4.
Pitts is charged with two felony counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
An inmate just released from the Cayuga Correctional Facility will be extradited to face charges in Pennsylvania instead of enjoying his freedom.
Christopher Greening, who was serving a two to four year prison sentence in New York state for attempting to possess a controlled substance, a felony, is accused of violating his parole in Pikes County, Pa.
