Youth Soccer: Big M wins soccer opener

Elbridge Big M defeated Ed and Jean's 2-0 in a Finger Lakes Minor Soccer League Senior Division game Monday.
Dylion Chapman scored both goals for Elbridge while Jacob Pritchard and Michael Wright both contributed an assist.

Ian Phillips collected seven saves for Big M while Scott Blake, Nicole Wells and Gillian Flame led defensively.

Em Lacota tallied five saves for Ed and Jean's, while Noah Adler, Josh Daeffler and Courtney Harris led the defense.

Erie Canal Kids 4, Auburn Kiwanis 3

Leading the Erie Canal Kids were Kyler Brown who scored twice, Allan Klimek tallied one goal and one assist, Matt Weiman contributed one goal and Zack Huttar added one assist.

Steven Clark collected eight saves.

Scoring one goal apiece for Auburn Kiwanis were Josh Bresee, Luke Netti and Allison Hunter, while Jimmy Macholl recorded seven saves.

SQUIRT DIVISION

Balcom Appliance 3, Summit Chevrolet 0

Zada Seitz, Joseph Valenti and Brett Palmer each scored one goal for Balcom. Seitz also contributed one save along with April Balcom and Gretchen Graf, while Caleb Schwartz added two saves.

Summit's Katelyn Stoddard collected five saves, Dylan Napolitano recorded four saves, Tyler Reohr tallied three saves and Connor Cuthbert added two saves.

ATOM DIVISION

Tinkers 6, Vitale Dairy Farm 1

Branden Lyons tallied three goals to lead Tinkers while Mikayla Rink, Rylie Parker and Kascey Relfe each added one goal.

Kane Martin and Sydney Huth both played in goal while Devon Thomas led Tinkers defensively.

Pacing Vitale, Greg Hawuczyk scored the lone goal while Chris Johnson collected three saves in the first half.

Taylor Bell and Dakota Kahler combined for nine saves while Ciera Cuddeback and Megan Westmiller led the defense.

Vitale Ready Mix 1, Rx City 0

David Butler scored the goal for Vitale with an assist from Lexi Colella.

Madison Bannister collected three saves for Vitale while Matthew VanWyckhouse, Erica Saroodis and Jeremy St. Martin led the defensive effort.

Emily Scharette, Ke'Shawn Thomas and Dan Nolan paced Rx City defensively.
