The Prison City Party Rockers will be the main act at a fundraiser planned for 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 12, at Buffalo Wild Wings, Route 5 & 20, Aurelius.
Koleen Smith, general manager of Buffalo Wild Wings, and contractor Mike Poorman collaborated on different ways to raise money for Hospice of the Finger Lakes and the result is a night of friends, food and live music for a great cause.
Joining The Prison City Rockers will be Skaneateles students Jules Poorman and Gabriella Whiting, both 14 years old, along with accompanist John Schmitt on guitar. Schmitt is traveling from New York City to play this fundraiser for Hospice.
“We are completely overwhelmed with Mike's generosity, his three prong plan, first the make-over, this event with the Party City Rockers and the golf tournament at Lakeview Country Club on Aug. 15. We are so grateful for Koleen Smith and the staff at Buffalo Wild Wings as well as the musicians who are playing,” said Terry Kline, executive director of Hopice of The Finger Lakes.
They will also have giveaways, raffles and 15-percent of the proceeds will be donated to Hospice.
