But when you're dealing with kids that come from generational poverty, it's different. Spend some time with the juvenile justice system kids. Kids coming in at 16yrs old and haven't been to school since 8th grade. The parents keep having the kids and you keep paying the price. "

in many instances, a POOR kid will come across a person of interest and do everything possible to mimic that person.
this is how they end up in gangs! hopefully they meet and become infatuated with a good human being first!
I have read many of stories stating some poor kids, with the right person/teacher influenced them to become doctors or lawyers or even teachers!
