That old saying “Money is the root of all evil” couldn't be truer. When one has a lot of money, one isn't usually happy and wants more. Need proof? How about Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff? How about the Wall Streeters, CEOs, millionaire pro-athletes? None ever seems satisfied with their millions and billions, and they want trillions and zillions.
And where does this money that these modern day yuppies are so eager to get come from? Who else but from Average Joe and Jane. Talk about socking it to 'em.
Insurance companies certainly do that. A thousand dollars and up a year for auto insurance is highway robbery, especially when they have good driving records and no marks on their licenses. Bad drivers deserve to pay high rates. Good drivers shouldn't have to but they do. And when a bad driver crashes into a good driver's vehicle, there is not one penny paid out to a good driver for injuries incurred for pain and suffering.
Good one. What a disgrace. It's just another case of paying a lot out for vehicle insurance and getting nothing back but the bare minimum.
Thanks a lot New York No Fault Insurance. No wonder there's so many bad drivers. If they get into an accident, it just goes under No Fault.
Sure sounds like a good way to get bad drivers to shape up. How galling that someone injured has to rehab for a year or longer and obviously has pain and suffering, yet under No Fault, can't get one penny out of the insurance company because no bones were broken.
To add insult to injury, anyone not at fault in a auto accident ends up paying higher rates in the future. Yes, it's all about making money at the expense of those who have little money. It really is pathetic how the rich and powerful have their way time after time after time.
Depending on where one goes to get vehicles repaired, more often than not, you'll be charged a pretty penny. Same with going to get gas. With the costly charge of owning a vehicle, it's no wonder the economy is so bad. Government is no better. It's always about giving government more money, but don't expect anything in return.
All the money mongers here, there and everywhere are responsible for the bad economy.
Continually ripping off the little guy (gal) is never going to make the economy better.
