Eric Edmunds and Jeff Baldetti of the Skaneateles boys golf team both finished in the top 20 to move on to the second round of the Section III Individual Competition at the Seven Oaks Golf Club at Colegate University Thursday.
Edmunds is currently in fourth with an 81, while Baldetti is in eighth place with an 83.
They both will participate in the second round of the qualifier at Seven Oaks Golf Club and will advance on to the state competition if they finish in the top nine Saturday.
Auburn's Bob Dushatinski shot a 90 to take 34th overall at the competition after he had an 85 at Rogues' Roost Golf and Country Club at the Section III, Class A-Competition Monday, while Bob Gage had a 93 to take 50th after he shot a 79 and took third at the Section III, Class A-2 competition.
Harrison Davenport rounded out the Maroons with a 99 for 88th out of 104 golfers in the competition, while he carded an 82 Monday.
Auburn fininished its season after taking second with a score of 421 in their class Monday.
