A verbal argument between two neighboring Auburn business owners turned physical when one of them struck the other on the head with a plastic lawn chair Monday afternoon, the Auburn Police Department said.
Scott A. Morrison, 25, of 1730 Townline Road, Union Springs, was charged with second-degree felony assault after striking the owner of a business on Wallace Avenue in Auburn, police said.
The victim's glasses were broken and the victim suffered swelling to the right side of the face, police said.
Police said they believe the argument was sparked by a property feud.
Morrison was arraigned in Auburn City Court and was released on $750 cash bail.
