The Eat Well Play Hard program has announced a number of events this month aimed at getting people up and about.
The events - all free - are offered in conjunction with National Physical Fitness Month.
Eat Well Play Hard focuses on increasing physical activity and healthy eating in the community. Beginning this coming weekend, families can attend a skating, biking and skateboarding safety clinic, baseball at the park, a disc golf tournament and a children's run - all in or around Auburn.

Details: Captain and crew teams of 2-, 3- and 4-man categories. Free disc to the first 25 teams
What: Hit a healthy home run at Falcon Park
When: 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16
Where: 108 North Division St., Auburn
Details: Bring the kids for activities on the Doubledays baseball field: speed pitch, accuracy station, run the bases, home run derby, batting tunnel, club house tour, moonwalk and healthy snacks

Where: Cayuga Community College, 197 Franklin St., Auburn
Details: Children's Fun Run/Walk at Cayuga Community College. Healthy snacks provided by Eat Well Play Hard
