Two Auburn men were charged with burglary Monday after they were accused of stealing metal materials from an abandoned Miller Street home, the Auburn Police Department said.
James Greer, 23, of 20 Logan St., apartment C, and William Borza, 20, of 886 Church St., were arrested after a resident reported two suspicious people near the abandoned home, police said.

When officers apprehended the men at about 2 p.m. they were throwing metal materials over a fence into a nearby backyard, police said.

The men are accused of stealing 21 pieces of aluminum siding, one metal door and pieces of electrical wiring, police said.

Both men are charged with third-degree felony burglary, misdemeanor petit larceny and misdemeanor criminal mischief. Borza is also charged with misdemeanor possession of a weapon for having a gravity blade.

Both men were arraigned in Auburn City Court where Borza's bail was set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond and Greer's bail was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.

" Well then, judging from the commentary, we know who the criminal minds are on this forum, I guess?

One man's "free enterprise" is another man's "felony burglary".

Sheeesh. More bad parenting, I'm guessing? "

" you wouldnt say that if it was your house getting broken in to you could be a sleep and not know you wake up and find all your things gone sure this place had no one in it. next thing you know someone is getting hurt from being robed and we have seen that in the paper. people getting hurt even by a gun and things were taken so yea i guess its no big deal this time the place had no one living there.
