In the 119-pound weight class, Dominick Giacolone set a new school record as he earned his 127th career victory for the Cato-Meridian wrestling team Monday, despite a 36-25 team loss to Mexico.
Giacolone won by an 8-5 decision over Mexico's Kyle Sikes.
Also winning for the Blue Devils were Nick Pultz (130 pounds) who won by a 14-9 decision, Brandon Bosco (152) earned a 16-3 major decision, Nick Lalone (160) defeated his opponent by a 9-0 major decision, Ethan Holt (171) won by a 17-0 decision and R.C. Gratton (215) earned a forfeit.
Fayetteville-Manlius 47, Auburn 15
The Maroons' winners were James Murtari in the 125-pound weight class by pin in 1:45, Neil Halpin (140) defeated his opponent by a 7-2 decision and Joe Giacona (112) won by forfeit.
It was senior night for Auburn as they honored senior captains Ian Merritt and Justin Gilmore, along with senior Farinelli.
The Maroons travel to Cicero-North Syracuse for the Class AA championships Saturday.

In the 119-pound weight class, Mitch Janes finished in first place overall for the Panthers, pinning Jordan-Elbridge's Preston Bishop in 5:41 in Saturday's tournament.
Also wrestling for Port Byron were Caleb Green (112) who placed second after a loss to Cato-Meridian's Dominick Giacolone, Christian Cobb (135) finished third after winning a 7-5 decision and Eric Urwin (130) took fifth place.
Panthers' coach Tom Green also received the Coach of the Year award.
Port Byron (13-12) finished second overall in their league, as Caleb Green (112) will be seeded second for the Section III championships with a 30-3 record, Tyler Wellington (122) is seeded seventh, Janes (119) is seeded fifth with a 30-6 record and Cobb (135) is seeded fourth with a (19-7) record.

Cicero-North Syracuse 4, Auburn 1
The Maroons lost their second match of the year.
Pacing Auburn were Brandon Emperato who rolled a 676 while Steve Titus fired a 638.

Auburn senior co-captain Sarah Wild bowled a 514 while Stefanie Spinney had the high game of the day - 257.

Liz Caspari paced the Eagles with 20 points.
Port Byron (8-10) travels to Pulaski Thursday.

Pacing the Lakers were Ashley Sheldon who tallied nine points, Jackie Leslie contributed seven points, Emily Call added six points and Erica Tardiff finished with five points.
Skaneateles (1-18) hosts Marcellus Thursday for senior night.

The Lakers staged a fourth-quarter rally, outscoring Bishop Grimes 26-14 but lost in the final seconds, hitting a two instead of a necessary 3-pointer.
Nick Pesarchick paced Skaneateles with 17 points, Paul O'Donnell tallied 12 points, 10 of which came in the fourth quarter, and Will Polacheck added seven points and 12 rebounds.
The Lakers (12-7) travel to Marcellus Friday.
