The Syracuse men's lacrosse team wasted no time in its 10-3 win over Rutgers at the Carrier Dome Saturday.
The first half was all Syracuse as it held Rutgers scoreless until 13:18 left in the third quarter. By that time it was 6-0 Orange as they won their ninth game of the season.
For the second straight game, Stephen Keogh and Chris Daniello led the Orange with three goals apiece. Kenny Nims finished with three points - two assists and one goal. With those points he extended his scoring streak to 27 games.
John Galloway finished with eight saves.
The Orange's defense forced two turnovers to help set up two of their first five goals.
No. 5 Syracuse (9-2) hosts Albany Friday.
Centenary 21, Wells 4
Adam Neider led the Express with two goals and an assist, while David Kaus and Kylan Hallett each scored a goal.
Kyle Brimm finished with 11 saves, while Kaus had nine.
Wells (0-7) travels to Marywood Saturday.
WOMEN'S LACROSSE
Colgate 12, Bucknell 7
Skaneateles native and Bucknell freshman Jenna Lotkowictz led the defense with three ground balls, while forcing three turnovers in the loss. Offensively, the Bison were led by Bonnie Buechel with a hat trick.
Alyssa DeLorenz finished with 14 saves for the Bison.
The Raiders' offense was spread out, led by Courtney Miller and Ashley Didio each with three goals, while Brie Moran and Colleen Bubnack added two goals and an assist apiece.
Christina Roa had four saves for the Raiders, while Sara Drexler had one.
Bucknell (9-5) hosts Marist Tuesday.

The Orange were led by Katie Rowan with six points off four goals and two assists, as she moved into sole possession of seventh place on the Division I all-time scoring list with 355 points.
At one point in the first half, Syracuse was up by 12, but in the second half allowed the Irish to outscore them 13-2.
The Fighting Irish were led by Shaylyn Blaney with four goals, while Jillian Byers recorded a hat trick and added an assist. Ansley Stewart led the Fighting Irish with two assists.
Halley Quillinan and Christina Dove each had a hat trick for the Orange, while Tee Ladouceur, Megan Mosenson, Quillinan and Rowan each had two assists.
Liz Hogan had eight saves, but none was more crucial then her save with 32 seconds left in regulation on Blaney's shot on the goal.
Auburn's Flannery Nangle is a member of the Notre Dame team, but hasn't played this season due to an injury.
Syracuse (11-3 overall, 4-2 Big East) hosts No. 20 Cornell Wednesday.

Emily Lotkowictz, of Skaneateles, led the Express with three goals. Liz Barclay had 13 saves in the win.
