BINGHAMTON -- Residents of Binghamton are marking the one-week anniversary of an immigration center shooting that left 14 people dead.
Friday's observance will include the planting of a memorial garden at a park. City churches were asked to ring their bells 14 times at 10:30 a.m. — the time of the shootings — to remember the victims.
Broome Community College hosted a memorial service for shooting victims Thursday, and a candlelight memorial service was held Thursday night on the Binghamton University campus.
