Undefeated St. Alphonsus topped Sacred Heart I 68-48 to claim the seventh and eighth grade CYO basketball championship.
Justin Fasce scored a game-high 38 points to lead St. Alphonsus, while Ryan McCormick added 30 points and Devin Guinnip played well defensively.
The other members of St. Alphonsus are T.J. Sochan, Katie Cooper, Brandon Fasce and Erica Dragone.
Sacred Heart was paced by Connor Herr who collected 18 points and Ryan Ringwood finished with 12 points.
HIGH SCHOOL
Nuggets 51, Lakers 31
Leading the Nuggets to the high school championship were Dave Sargent who scored 16 points, Cody Young tallied 14 points, and Eddie Charles earned 10 points. Luke Christiantelli and Trevor Doan both played well defensively for the Nuggets.
Pacing the Lakers were Dustin Dacey and Rob Watros who both finished with 10 points.

Leading the Lakers to the semifinal win were Brian Roe who recorded 17 points while Watros added 14 points while Dacey performed well defensively. Pacing the Knicks were Brian Brazee with 17 points and Tim Locastro contributed 10 points while Rob Culver led defensively.

Charles led the Nuggets scoring 23 points and Sargent tallied 13 points while Young and Christiantelli played strong defense.
Kevin Hoercher paced the Suns with 12 points while A.J. Yates chipped in nine points.

Dacey recorded 42 points to lead the Lakers.
Brian Roe led the Lakers on defense while the Bulls were paced by Tyler Garafolo with 26 points, Mike Gordan with 21 points and John Friedel playing well on defense.

Brazee led the Knicks with 24 points, Culver posted 18 points and Locastro led defensively.
