Corissa Quattrini recorded a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds for the Cayuga Community College women's basketball team as they defeated fourth-ranked Onondaga Community College 78-74 to earn their third straight win, Saturday.
Caitlyn Dillard scored 22 points, while having three steals and four assists as the Spartans bounced back from a 43-33 halftime, and at one point in the second half, they were down 15.
“It was a great comeback,” Spartans coach Jim Alberici said.
“It's a huge win for our program and for us.”
Shakeema Green finished with 15 points and Ryan Iannello contributed nine.
The Spartans and Lazers met earlier in this season on Dec. 14, with the Lazers winning 93-72 in the championship game of the Onondaga Community College Tournament.
Cayuga (14-3 overall, 2-0 Mid-State Atlantic Conference) travels to Corning Community College, Tuesday.
