I can't believe that there are mothers that would leave a family of children without care and food. What is this world coming to, a mother leaving children?
In that case, certainly they should be punished as well. But nothing surprises me today with all I read about children getting beat up and now leaving them.
I'm sorry, but as you read in the paper today, what is done to children makes me so sick.

I've known children who beat their elderly parents after robbing them, then tried to set the house on fire to kill them, parents who gave the children all they could ever want and more. So, it can cut either way.
