Syracuse University's men's basketball team is off to its best start in years, with impressive non-conference victories.

But the Big East Conference is loaded with tough teams this year, so nothing is guaranteed for a team that has missed the NCAA tournament two straight years.

The Orange Slices blog has been on top of it all so far, including a warning readers about the Cleveland State team that handed the Orange an upset loss.

" I feel pretty sure that this year will be very good for the roundballers. They might still have a few more losses with some of their well known rivals, but overall they should do very well.
Hopefully they will do well in the Big East Tournament as well. "
