JP Garropy led the Union Springs indoor track and field team at a meet in Cortland Saturday.

Garropy took second in the 55 hurdles (9.1 seconds), while finishing second in the long jump (18- 1.25).

He was also part of the 4x200 relay team that finished fourth (1:15.1) with Shane Groom, Jared Bretherton and Josh Terry.

Groom came in third in the 55-yard dash (7.0) and fourth in the 300m (12.7), while Bretherton took sixth in the 300 (43.3).

BOYS BASKETBALL

Skaneateles 63, Waterloo 44

Kevin Rice led the Lakers with 23 points, while Jonny Chapman chipped in with 14. Will Polacheck scored eight, while coming down with five boards.

Skaneateles (6-2) travels to Homer Wednesday.

Weedsport 57, Faith Heritage 49

Justin Rose led the Warriors with 16 points and 10 rebounds in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic.

Weedsport (6-1) hosts LaFayette, Monday.

Onondaga 58, Cato-Meridian 27

The Blue Devils suffered their first loss of the season.

Cato-Meridian (7-1) travels to Tully Monday.

Skaneateles 2, Cortland-Homer 1 OT

Kyle Christine and Drake Hill each scored a goal for the Lakers in a league matchup. Patrick Emmer, Zach Augustine and Jake Bird each had an asisst.

Trevor Diamond saved 18 shots for the Lakers.
