Jeremy Stewart led the Moravia boys basketball team with 23 points in its 73-53 win over Newfield, Friday. Pat Mott also contributed with 19 points, eight boards and six assists. Greg Pasho had 17 points and seven steals.
“We had a pretty good second half,” Blue Devils coach Todd Mulvaney said. “We turned up the heat in that half.”
Moravia (6-2) hosts Groton, Tuesday.

Auburn 60, Central Square 51
Kelly Grinnell scored 17 points for the Maroons, while also assisting nine shots. She needs nine more points to eclipse the 1,000 mark for her career. Maggie Race finished with 13 points and seven rebounds, while Emily Felter and Taylor Baran each finished with nine.
“This was a big win for us,” Maroons coach Gary Grinnell said. “We have not played well early in the season.”
Auburn travels to state ranked Oswego, Tuesday.
