Malcolm Bryant racked up 16 points and nine rebounds as the Auburn boys basketball team topped Indian River 64-56 at the Baldwinsville Holiday Tournament Monday.
Indian River is ranked 15th in the state in Class A.
“It was a really big win for us,” Auburn coach Al Giannone said. “They are definitely starting to come together and play as a team more.”
The Maroons' Jalaun Richardson posted 13 points and 12 rebounds, and Nick Granato tallied 12 points, six assists and five steals.
Kenny Byrd added 10 points and six assists.
Auburn (2-3) faces Baldwinsville in the championship game today.
