A carbon monoxide detector alerted residents to a leak inside their Vandenbosch Avenue home on Tuesday afternoon.
People who were inside the home were complaining of dizziness symptoms, according to radio dispatch reports around 1:50 p.m., but responders on the scene said no one was seriously injured.
Auburn Fire Department officials said a faulty stove was causing the slow leak. They said the situation could have been significantly worse without the detector warning residents to evacuate.
Vandenbosch Avenue is between Lake Avenue and Mattie Street.
