No. 13 Syracuse beats Seton Hall 100-76
SYRACUSE -- Eric Devendorf and Andy Rautins both hit three 3-pointers in a six-minute span to key a stirring first-half surge, and No. 13 Syracuse beat Seton Hall 100-76 on Tuesday night in the Big East opener for both teams
It was the fourth straight win for Syracuse (13-1) since a last-second loss to Cleveland State two weeks ago.
Rautins, who tied a school record with nine 3-pointers and scored a career-high 29 points in the Orange's previous game against Coppin State, was 7-for-10 from beyond the arc and finished with 26 points. Devendorf, 3-for-6 from long range, finished with 20 points.
