BUFFALO -- The mayor of Buffalo says he isn't happy with the snow-removal effort on some of his city's streets after last weekend's major storms.
Mayor Byron Brown says an internal review will be conducted to provide a detailed analysis of the city's snow-removal operations after storms on Dec. 19 and 21 dumped about 17 inches on the city.
Brown's move comes after numerous people living on side streets in residential neighborhoods complained to city officials that their streets were nearly impassable because they weren't being plowed.
Public works officials say plows have had difficulty negotiating some streets where car owners failed to dig out their vehicles and obey parking regulations.
