Before Barack Obama announced his running for president and no one knew him, I wrote articles saying the time is here for a change. Auburn needs some changes, changes that will benefit the people and our government.
A new year is coming in and it's time for another primary election of and for city council.
I will again run for a position on the council, for my visions of a better Auburn are still intact.
I will fight my hardest to help bring about new things for our children, the elderly and the poor. I will also present proposals for plans to assist all during this recession because of job cuts and losses.
I will not sit on the council and discuss about filling potholes, but I will discuss those things that Auburn should be doing to make this a better place for all residents.
Every city has a plan for emergencies and we should say to ourselves, “Are we in good hands in a state of emergency?”
My campaign will start the day after the inauguration. President-elect Obama's slogan has always been mine, “Yes we can,” and I say, “Yes, I can!”
