SANDUSKY, Ohio -- An Ohio couple decided to start married life in the upstate New York town widely thought to be the inspiration for the classic holiday film "It's a Wonderful Life."
Christopher Knoll and Tiffany Ritchie of Sandusky eloped last month to Seneca Falls, N.Y., which claims to be the inspiration for director Frank Capra's mythical Bedford Falls.

They even held the wedding ceremony on a bridge known as George Bailey's Bridge because it's nearly identical to the bridge that played such a big role in the movie.

Karolyn Grimes, the actress who played Zuzu, served as the couple's witness at the ceremony.

The newlyweds say they both love the movie and watch it three or four times every Christmas.
