Music contributes to our lives in many ways

Friday, December 19, 2008 11:43 PM EST

I love music because I can relate to most of it. I love music because it can portray the deepest emotions. It can change your mindset, it can change your world. I love music because in everything I do and everywhere I go, there is music. I love music because no matter what mood I am in, I can find something that I can listen to that fits how I feel at the exact moment.
I love music because I know it came from the heart of God. I love music because it connects with me and seems like it wants to draw me in. I love music because it touches the hearts of people. I love music because it is capable of communicating emotions and truths that cannot be conveyed solely through words.

I love music because I see it as redemptive runoff from breaks in communication - the ironic antidote to the relay's failure. I love music because it is fun, educational, inspiring, sometimes convicting, and often times healing.

I love music because it's the only language that everyone can speak and understand. I love music because of just that. I love music because it makes me feel alive and it has always been a part of my life. I love music because it allows me to pour out my heart to God and be challenged to live what I sing.

I love music because of how it touches my heart and soul. I love music because of how it connects so many different things. I love music because I feel that's the way to cure the heart. I love music because music makes me happy when I'm sad. I love music because it puts us in touch with important and profound things, things we sometimes don't want to face, but things that we're forced to face when they invade our souls through music.
