Caitlyn Dillard led the Cayuga Community College women's basketball team with 21 points, five assists and six steals as the Spartans lost 93-72 to Onondaga in the championship game of the Onondaga Community College Classic on Sunday.
Cayuga kept it close in the first half, but Onondaga pulled away after halftime.
“There'll a little bit deeper (than us),” Cayuga head coach Jim Alberici said. “They were able to get out and run the floor and get some easy baskets.”
Shakeema Green added 16 points and six rebounds for the Spartans, while Corissa Quattrini chipped in with nine points and 12 rebounds.
Samantha Race (eight points, three rebounds, one steal) and Ryan Iannello (six rebounds) also played well in the loss.
The Spartans (11-3) are off for winter break. They host Herkimer Community College Jan. 4.
