Caitlyn Dillard powered the Cayuga Community College women's basketball team to a 108-42 win over Lehigh Carbon Community College in the first round of the Onondaga Community Classic Tournament, Saturday.

Dillard scored 34 points, while racking up seven assists nine steals.

Corissa Quattrini scored 24 points, had two steals and picked up 19 rebounds. Ryan Iannello scored 14 points, while Samantha Race had eight. Ryan Reeder finished with 12 points, eight assists, nine rebounds and two steals. Shakeema Green scored 10, while adding seven assists, five rebounds and four steals. The Spartans made eight 3-pointers.

“It was a great all-around game,” Spartans coach Jim Alberici said. “We gained control early in the game and kept playing strong throughout.”

Cayuga (11-2) plays Onondaga Community College in the championship game of the tournament today.

Schenectady Community College 82, Cayuga Community College 79 OT

Jovoun Webb led the Spartans offense with 34 points and 15 boards. Terry Harrison scored 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Rahammod Trotter scored seven and had seven rebounds. Jamell Slater scored 14 points for the Spartans.

Dashawn White and Justin Sterling each scored five points.

Cayuga (6-6) hosts Herkimer Community College Jan. 4.
