Blue Devils take second at duals

Dom Giacolone recorded his 100th career wrestling victory as the Cato-Meridian wrestling team went 4-1 in the Cato-Meridian Dual Meet Tournament, finishing second overall as a team on Saturday.

His 100th victory couldn't have come at a better time for the Blue Devils, as it was in a close match against Webster-Thomas. Cato-Meridian was down 27-25 with a minute left in Giacolone's match when he was able to take his opponent down for the win. The Blue Devils beat Webster-Thomas 28-27.

Giacolone, a junior who wrestled in the 112- and 119-pound weight classes, is only trailing Dan Rude for all-time wins with 126 at Cato-Meridian.
