Winter weather is on the way to the region once again.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the southern half of Cayuga County through 10 a.m. Friday.
The agency said the snow will arrive after 1 p.m. Thursday. About an inch of accumulation is possible during the daytime, with another 2 to 4 inches likely during the evening.
Sleet may mix with the snow at times.
The more severe winter weather is predicted to the east of the region.
