YMCA hosting youth basketball tourney
The Auburn YMCA is offering a four-on-four youth basketball tournament at 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 26. The tournament is open for grades second through eighth.
Teams may be co-ed and the cost is $25 per team. All games are full court and the first to 15 points wins.
Registrations are due by Dec. 23.

Holmberg hosting batting clinic
Dennis Holmberg, the Auburn Doubledays manager, will be holding a batting clinic for ages 8 to 18 on Thursday Jan. 29 and Saturday, Jan. 31 at the Doubledays batting tunnel at Falcon Park.
The clinic will feature three hours of personal instruction.
The cost of the clinic is $45 and includes a ticket to Opening Day in 2009, a Doubledays cap and $5 off of the Doubleday's baseball camp to be held during the 2009 season.
Registrations are being taken at the Doubledays offices at Falcon Park, or by calling 255-2489.
Blue Devils hosting wrestling tourney
The Cato-Meridian wrestling team will be hosting a youth wrestling tournament starting at 9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at Cato-Meridian High School.

Port Byron will be holding its annual Christmas Baseball Clinic from noon to 2 p.m., Dec. 26 to 29 at Port Byron High School for grades four to eight and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for grades nine to 12.
The clinic is open to all Port Byron students and is free of cost.
