Clinton breaking her promise to New York state

Tuesday, December 9, 2008 11:39 PM EST

Remember when Hillary Clinton said she came to New York to run for the Senate because she loved the people of New York state?
Remember when she said she would finish her term and not move up the political ladder?

Remember when she came upstate and promised hundreds of jobs, especially in the Adirondacks?

Remember when the children sang the little song, “Liar, liar, pants on fire?”

If the pants fit, then wear them.

" Then she should have made such promises, should she? She's crooked from back in her Arkansas days, and the sad thing is that she is a better choice than many other candidates. "

" You should be proud that someone stepped up to try and fix the mess this country is in. For the last 8 years, the current administration did little except create enemies. It's now time to build peace and undo the damage. She is a great choice. As far as creating jobs, how can you create jobs when the economy is in shambles from 8 years of increased spending while reducing taxes? This is the neo-con-job. "

" P.S. I believe I saw where the Clintons plan to move to the Dallas area when she takes up her new position. Did you really believe her when she said she cared about the people of New York? We were just the best stepping stone for a carpet-bagger. "

" She promised tens of thousands of jobs, actually. You don't really think politicians keep their promises, do you? Not even the ones that are within their power to keep, much less the ridiculous promises they have no power to keep. People would be foolish to believe such promises in the first place, but find me a politician, Democrat, Republican or other, who doesn't make unkeepable promises. "

" With Hillary's foreign policy experience, she will be better served as Secretary of State. But wait, Obama said during the campaign that she had NO experience. I guess Obama feels she has some now. "
