“Lynch's tirades just to gain undeserved attention.” Ah yes, Bill Hawver is at it again.
Hawver is apparently one of the many people in the world who hear no evil, see no evil and don't want to hear the truth told.
Hawver has the gall to say I crave attention.
I do, but not necessarily from anyone on Planet Earth. I crave attention from my Creator.
Speaking about injustices I write about, I am 100 percent certain gets His attention. I'd say speaking out about an unnecessary, immoral and an illegal war gets his attention. I'd say speaking out about unequal distribution of the wealth gets his attention. The Tree of Life?
Tell me Hawver, how do you go about getting God's attention? I haven't seen any of your letters complaining about anything but me. I don't think that God looks favorably on anyone who puts down those trying to do His work.
Tell me, Hawver, how does this saying strike you? “Blessed are those who hunger and strive for injustice, for their's is the Kingdom of Heaven.” Strikes me as something worth striving for.
“Blessed are the peacemakers.” God's words have a way of resonating.
They work for me. Obviously, they don't work for you.
“Take up your cross and follow me.” I'm doing it, Mr. Hawver. Are you?
“I am the way, the truth and the light.” So stated Jesus Christ, Mr. Hawver of Cortland.
Have my letters not tried to make people aware of what Jesus' teachings are?
How about “As you have treated the least of my brethren, you have treated me.”
Let's get one thing straight, Mr. Hawver, anyone who calls himself (herself) a Christian, has a duty to carry on the works of the Lord. I don't see an awful lot of that in the good ol' USA.
Nothing is as it should be to God's way of thinking in present day.
Tell me, Mr. Hawver, why do you think that's so?
I'll tell you why, Mr. Hawver. It's because for too long (2008 years), people like yourself would rather live in your own little self-centered world and could care less about the world God envisioned for us all.
It's sad enough Mr. Hawver, that you and your ilk don't want to step up to the plate and help your Creator in the quest for a world more akin to his liking. But shame on you for trying to discourage me from having the Lord's back and trying to do God's work.

If there even is a god or gods, what makes you so sure YOU know how s/he(they) looks favorably (or not) on anything?
Give it up. "

I am sure he wants peace through-out the world, however, at times WAR is needed.
No where does God say, do not protect and fight for your rights, your family, your countrymen.
Afterall didnt jesus LEAD the jews to fight against injustice and WAR-ed all the way to the promised land?
I am not a fan of war but at times it is needed, and I dont think GOD would want us to sit back in our lazy-boys and do nothing but wait to be slaughtered. "
