Auburn police are investigating a report of gun shots being fired in the area of Wall Street on Sunday night.

The Auburn Police Department plans to issue a press release on the case later today, but at this point is still piecing together information, officials said. They did confirm, however, that no one is believed to have been struck by the gunfire.

The report came over the police scanner a little before 9 p.m.
