Maroons clamp down on defense
Kelly Grinnell got a little closer to history on Tuesday night.
Grinnell led the Auburn girls basketball team with 25 points in a 51-26 win over Henninger. With the performance, the senior is nearly 50 points away from 1,000 for her career. She would be only the third player in Maroons' history to achieve the feat, and the first since Leigh Aziz.
“Kelly was our whole offense,” Auburn head coach Gary Grinnell said.
