The membership of the Cayuga Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank all of those who helped us through the most difficult of times -the loss of our friend and brother, firefighter Stephen R. Landers.
Special thanks goes to the Cayuga County Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team for being there for us immediately after Stephen's accident; the Cayuga Fire Department Ladies Division for preparation and serving of food at the repast; the Aurelius and Union Springs fire departments for providing mutual aid coverage for us; the many other agencies that offered their services to us; and to Dick Bradley, an EMT from the Aurora Fire Department, and Eric Kehoe, a paramedic from Rural Metro Medical Services, who went above and beyond the call of duty at the accident scene.
In closing we would again like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Dawn, Steve, Ashley and Lauren for the loss of such a wonderful son and brother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
