Maroons fall to Brothers
AUBURN - For a team that showed flashes of greatness, the Auburn ice hockey team's loss to Albany CBA must have been a frustrating one Friday night.
The Maroons skated their way to a 3-1 lead in the second period, but the Brothers were able to find the right spots at the right moments in the 5-4 victory.
“We were like Jekyll and Hyde tonight,” said Maroons' coach Mike Lowe. “We played great at times and other times it was just a whole different team. We've had some great periods so far this year; tonight we just didn't put enough of them together.”
