Tumbling back

He's been promoting his book in places like New York City and Chicago, and he's been on ESPN a few different times. So it might seem unusual that Mark Bavaro's next stop is Auburn.

The former NFL tight end - who played most of his career with the New York Giants - will be at the Knights of Columbus from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday for a book signing for his new fiction work, “Rough & Tumble.”

Bavaro was in Auburn nearly two years ago, when he came to a Sacred Heart Sports Night as a favor to Gino Alberici, who was college roommates with Bavaro's late father, Anthony, at Holy Cross.
