We should work to better Auburn now, not later

I expected to get some feedback to the announcement that the city would like to form groups to discuss plans for making Auburn a better, more successful city 10 years from now. Great idea!

I ask myself, what happens next year and subsequent years until 2018? Some of us will be gone, through attrition, and we are really the ones who care. Time goes so rapidly, can we do something sooner?
