New York needs a bailout because of Wall Street greed

New York state is facing budget cuts all over the state. Is it because of the fall of Wall Street, and we have to carry their burden? The support of New York City? Again? Bailout, by cutting needy agencies that provide help for the needy citizens of our great state?
Maybe some of the cuts should be from the higher officials and their million dollar salaries and their million dollar luxuries.

AIG in the news again, with their $600,000 corporate weekend in a posh Colorado resort. Last month, it was $400,000 in Las Vegas for a conference. (Facts from recent CBS “60-Minutes” broadcast.) And we, the taxpayers, bailed them out?

Maybe some of the cuts should be “job” cuts in Albany in administrations. Obviously everyone is not doing their job. Your administrative assistant's assistant should be cut. How many assistants do you need? Wall Street and their greedy million dollar corporates, cut some salaries, no increase in salaries, cut jobs in their sectors to save.

The tourism business: Cut some of the funding for those programs. Millions of dollars are spent each year to develop areas of interests all over New York state.

Our children should be a priority. They need a good education and good health in order to survive this crazy world.

Schools are limited now with their budgets. Children need good schools to provide a good future.

Health and Medicaid, many people suffer now, with limited medical attention.

FACT: If you are on Medicaid, no doctors want to care for you, you have to go to clinics. Doctors will not accept Medicaid patients, because medical treatments are limited, and the payments are not great.

You are taking away from elderly people on fixed incomes, the mentally/physically disabled and our young, future of our children's benefits to accommodate your drastic budget changes.

The wealthy, employed, citizens of our I LOVE New York state, they certainly have a good education at this point, and great health care! My blessings for their accomplishments.

Gov. Paterson, his assistants, senators, legislators, the people we voted for to support us, the taxpayers, need to look into another path, and take away from the people who are not in need, not the “needy...”

New York needs a bailout!
