There has been much mud slinging during this election year, but I would like to say about our next president, Barack Obama, that he gave us a choice to make about, abortions, being gay, or many other things that people have criticized him about.
Without legal abortions we would go backward into the alleys again where worse things happen. I too am not for abortion, yet God Himself even gives us a choice to keep His Holy 10 Commandments, these are not 10 suggestions. He will not force us to bend or obey. He wants willing love from all of us.
Yes, there are gays in this world. They happen to be on both sides of my family tree, but I love them anyway, accepting them for who they are no matter their preference. Many are against gay marriage. We see that only a man and woman can procreate another human being. Yet, God gives us choice. Was it wrong for Obama to also give us a choice as a nation?
Due to the privileges of some races, you can never know what this election meant to some, and others now can't even speak about it openly in some places without reprisals, because their candidate lost the race. It is very sad that we can't come together, but we let the devil into our hearts when we work from fear or anger.
Whose side are you on, God's or the devils? Are we going to pull together as a nation or fight like little immature children?
