CORTLAND -- State police say they have reopened one of the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 south of Syracuse that was closed after a tractor-trailer crashed into the median.
A Cortland County emergency dispatcher says the crash happened around 4:10 a.m. in the northbound lanes in the city of Cortland, 30 miles south of Syracuse.

The dispatcher says the truck went off the highway and crashed in the median. The driver wasn't injured.

The northbound lanes were closed between Exit 10 just outside Cortland and Exit 11 in the city.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
