SYRACUSE -- Gov. David Paterson is hosting a town hall meeting this afternoon at the Onondaga County Civic Center in downtown Syracuse.
The governor is making several stops throughout the state in preparation for the Nov. 18 special session of the New York state Legislature. Paterson is seeking $1.5 billion in cuts from the state's current budget.
At his first town hall meeting last week in White Plains, Paterson said he and legislative leaders had already agreed there would be no tax increase proposed during the special session.
Tuesday's meeting will begin at 3 p.m.
