The Auburn Police Department responded to a decrease in the number of calls for service from September to October, according to the department's monthly activity report.
In October, officers responded to 1,666 calls, while they had previously responded to 1,952 in September.
Officers conducted 59 burglary, felony and drug investigations last month, down from 73 in the previous month.
Officers also made fewer traffic stops in October, with 118, but wrote more tickets, with 201. In September, officers made 152 stops and issued 163 tickets.
Detectives also saw a decrease in activity with 66 new cases in October. Detectives had received 72 new cases in September. With the decrease in new cases, detectives closed 82 previously assigned ones, and made 10 arrests. In September, officers had closed 73 older cases and made 12 arrests.
The School resource officer also responded to fewer incidents, with 171 cases including fighting, bullying and other disruptive behavior. The officers responded to 180 incidents in September.
